- No more visits to relatives houses
- Sit through out the day at home watching "Deepavali sirappu nigazhchigal"(Diwali special programs in TV)
- No more home made sweet,Kaaram
- Get sweets from the shop

yeah tats true.. Nowadays ppl seldom prepare stuffs in their home. Infact Diwali 2.0 is a subset of Lazy 2.0
The day is not far when we will hire 'thatha' and 'paati' for applying oil on our hairs on the diwali morning ;-)

Itz not true with everyone.. Itz all in ur attitude how u want to celebrate it. I had one of my best diwali this time aftr missing the last one being at onsite. To tell u I'm still with Diwali 1.0. Bursting crackers with friends and family. Preparing and eating sweets. Going to my Grand Pa's Home.. Watching a new movie on the diwali day and then being with friends for dinner. Am Happy. I hope i don't change this ever

Its wonderful to know that Diwali was celebrated in the old way by you. I still know people follow the same tradition for 5-6 generation. I meant that there is a new way of Celebration which has come.
